Giddings John Doe 1975

Description:

On September 7, 1975, the skeletal remains of a young boy were discovered off of US 77 in Lee County, Texas. A family having a picnic at a roadside park just south of Giddings came across the remains, which had been placed in a trash bag and left under a tree. The child had three holes in his skull, and an examination of his remains revealed a history of physical trauma.

It was later determined that the boy had died around two months before his body was discovered. Furthermore, he was 3-5 years old and had dark brown hair, while recent DNA testing has revealed that he was Hispanic.
