Description:
On February 15, 2001, a human skull was brought into the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office by an individual who reported finding the remains in an area of Monte Rio, California, nicknamed “Motorcycle Mountain”. The skull was in good condition with the exception of a missing mandible. No additional remains were found in further searches of the area where the skull had been discovered. Cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the forehead. Blunt force trauma was also evident. Investigators determined the skull belonged to a Caucasian male between 25-40 years old.
