Description:
On April 11, 1975, fishermen found the remains of an African American girl between the age of 12 and 23 in a river in Clinton County, Iowa. No clothing or jewelry were found with her body. Authorities estimate she was between 5 feet, 2 inches and 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighed between 100 to 120 pounds. An autopsy found she was approximately 10 weeks pregnant. Death is estimated to have occurred sometime in early 1975 and is being investigated as a homicide.
