On May 21, 2002 construction workers found an incomplete human skeleton off of Highway 135, south of Swamp City Road in Gregg County, Texas. The Tarrant County ME estimated the deceased to be a White or Hispanic female, of petite build and between 16-30 years of age. The young woman had an unrepaired cleft palate and lip. No clothes were reported being found with the remains; the cause and manner of death have not been disclosed. Authorities speculate the deceased died up to two years prior to being discovered.
