, ,

Description
On August 21, 2003 skeletal remains were collected in an area adjacent to Kent-Des Moines Road in Kent, Washington, south of Seattle. The unidentified female was a victim of serial killer Gary Leon Ridgway, who confessed in 2004 to murdering a young woman and directed investigators to the spot. Investigators conducted an extensive search of the area at the time and found a number of bones. From the remains forensic investigators could not determine much about the victim, other than sex and age. No clothing or other items were found near the remains. She had probably died sometime between 1970 and 1990.
