All the cases below have now been resolved. Cases with the red “Identified” were resolved by the DNA Doe Project using investigative genetic genealogy. Those with the black “Identified” were solved primarily through other means which are detailed in each case page.
You won’t find all of the individuals we’ve identified named on our website yet. Once an agency confirms someone’s identity, there can be considerable time spent investigating the circumstances of the death before we can make a public announcement.
